His efforts have been reported in People magazine and CNN. Now, Farm Rescue Founder and ANC 747-400 Capt. Bill Gross is receiving attention from two other media sources.

Gross was also featured in a nationwide magazine called "Purpose Driven Connection with Rick Warren." Warren also wrote "Purpose Driven Life," one of the nation’s best selling books. The magazine hit the newsstands last April 28. (Borders, Barnes & Noble, etc.)

Gross was also be featured on DirectTV’s ‘Hometown Heroes’ May 3. The program aired on DirectTV Channel 101.

Host Joan Lunden told the inspirational story of Gross whose extraordinary acts of kindness, courage and generosity are making a profound difference in the lives of others.

Farm Rescue Mission
Farm Rescue provides planting and harvesting assistance to farm families that have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster. Qualifying farmers may be eligible to have their agricultural land planted or harvested free of charge.

Funding & Volunteers
Farm Rescue does not distribute funds to farmers. Donations are used to pay for the expenses associated with planting and harvesting crops. Labor for operating the equipment is provided by Farm Rescue volunteers.
